Welcome to the West Side at Bowl Burger Bistro

Two West Side residents have opened a family-oriented restaurant on West Side Ave. A place for their kids and other families to feel comfortable and welcome. Bowl Burger Bistro also strives to embrace the diverse flavors and cultures of the West Side community. That vibe is apparent as you soon as you enter the restaurant and take in the colorful hand-painted mural from a local artist and receive a sweet welcome from staff.

The menu has something for everyone. There are handcrafted halal burgers, crispy chicken salad bowls and sandwiches and veggie options including a soy-glazed vegetable platter and a lightly fried aloo burger on a toasted brioche. Distinct Middle Eastern, Peruvian and Indian flavors make their way throughout the menu. They also have a full brunch menu including egg sandwiches, steak and eggs, waffles and Crunch Berry French Toast with berry compote. Besides coffees, teas and soft drinks, Bowl Burger Bistro has a lovely mocktail menu with drinks including a Spicy Mango Fizz, a Berry Basil Refresher and a Cucumber Mint Cooler.

Originally from NYC, husband-and-wife Mo and Evelyn found their way to JC in 2006, living at the Beacon Condos before relocating to and completely falling in love with the West Side in 2020. This restaurant is their love letter to the neighborhood and will certainly be here for years to come.
